ABOUT

"Writing and recording my thoughts from my living room.
Hoping to share these with the lovers, the lost, and the broken-hearted."
Bringing something different to folk music with his distinctive warming vocal tone over heart-felt Beatle-esque lyrics, Ollie Bond is taking the UK folk scene by storm.
With his music sounding like a blend of Passenger, Gregory Alan Isakov, Bon Iver & The Lumineers, Ollie writes about various situations that we all find ourselves in and can relate to: including heartbreak, isolation and love. In 2018, Ollie supported Ronan Keating, The Neville Staple Band, Hazel O'Connor & Tony Christie on the main stage at Godiva Festival, at the time the largest free festival in the UK. Ollie returned to the festival in 2019 to headline the acoustic stage and play the BBC stage.
Ollie has been lucky enough to reach the finals of national competition ‘OpenMic UK’ at the London O2. He’s also been nominated 4 times for an NMG award including 'Best Acoustic Act' and 'Best Male Artist'.
Ollie had a busy 20/21 releasing a string of singles, receiving praise from various music blogs including Thank Folk For That , BBC Introducing and Mahogany Sessions. 2022 is no different, after moving to Edinburgh, Scotland he is back gigging including with the well-renowned Sofar Sounds session. He now has his single "Loveable fresh out of Abbey Road Studios ready for release on August 5th 2022!
About his new single, 'Loveable':
"A song to remind someone how much they mean to you. I wrote this for my partner when she was going through a hard time to help pick her up and love her into the person I know her to be. Recorded in my living room and mastered at Abbey Road in London. Let's spread some love."
